Visitors have the opportunity to experience a variety vineyards and tasting rooms in Currituck County.
Two of the counties vineyards - Martin Vineyards and Moonrise Bay Vineyard - are located on Knotts Island. There you will learn about the winemaking process, taste local wines, and have the opportunity to purchase.
Martin Vineyards also has an orchard where you can taste and purchase peaches, apples, grapes and pumpkins (in-season). Moonrise Bay Vineyards also holds several special events throughout the year with music, food, and fun!
To get a complete taste of Currituck County wines, take a relaxing ferry ride across the Currituck Sound and visit the tasting rooms and gift shops of Sanctuary Vineyard and Native Vine on the Currituck Mainland.
